Ignorance ftw. Kills caused by SoM didn't yield any faction, so the only faction gained was for winning the match. And that's a pretty small amount.

Same thing with Dervish Way back in the other event.

They hear about it on a forum and gather up the first 4 random noobs in their guild to abuse it - and get rolled.

Then come to forums and say stuff like "Omg, Yall are noobs if you cant beat this crap, its useless".

Anet will better rollback ...... They have this rules of conduct, those that abuse it are getting faming in HA and rating in GvG, and those who dont are getting rolled. This is BS.

Funny, you get way more faction for winning than killing the players / npc's and at 1 win roughly every 2 minutes (time to win and time to get a new match), those numbers add up FAST. Depending on current guild rank, those numbers add up to between 20k and 30k faction / hour.

But those abuse , their guild will not be standing the same rank tomrrow. Lucky If they eever make Top 200.

Did you not notice that this is in the HEROES ASCENT forum? Faction gain received in HA is different than in GvG, in case you didn't realize that either..

so when people abused the market crash and bought 100's of ectos at rock bottom prices we got punished with a rollback. (i lost the chance to make millions and millions)
but when people abuse a mistake in PvP nothing happens to them.

It was one night of a beta test weekend. The ELO rating system is such that it eventually balances out relatively small hiccups like this. It was a bug, it was found and fixed, now relax.
